ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY
On 15 October 1992, the Ministry of Education Malaysia endorsed recommendation from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) to establish a School for Professional and Further Education. This School acts as a specialised centre for the implementation of lifelong learning programmes at the university level. This School was launched on July 1993, and known as the School of Professional and Continuing Education (SPACE).
SPACE was rebranded as SPACE UTM in 2006. The term “UTM” was added to the SPACE UTM name in order to increase public trust on the functions and operations of the centre as a legitimate UTM entity. Starting in 2000, SPACE UTM underwent rapid development due to the growing public interest on parttime programmes, as well as professional development programmes with various corporate companies. The centre also became a reference point to other institutions of higher learning for lifelong learning initiatives.
SPACE UTM was rebranded as UTM SPACE in 2009. In this rebranding exercise, the term “UTM” was shifted to the front in order to emphasise the status of UTM as the parent entity. This rebranding exercise was also aligned with the branding exercise that was implemented at UTM.
1992年10月15日，马来西亚教育部批准了马来西亚科技大学（UTM）的建议，成立了一个专业和继续教育学院。这个学院作为一个专门中心，负责在大学层面实施终身学习课程。该学院于1993年7月正式成立，称为专业和继续教育学院（SPACE）。
2006年，SPACE重塑品牌为SPACE UTM。在SPACE UTM的名称中加入了“UTM”一词，以增加公众对该中心作为合法UTM实体的功能和操作的信任。从2000年开始，由于公众对兼职课程以及与各种企业公司合作的专业发展项目的兴趣日益增长，SPACE UTM经历了快速发展。该中心也成为其他高等教育机构进行终身学习倡议的参考点。

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Douglas Business School is offering the Professional Master in Business Administration programme awarded by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. It is a one-year graduate degree programme for mid-level and executive managers who possess an undergraduate (business, or non-business with core business area prerequisites) degree.
Designed to provide participants with an in-depth knowledge and skills you require through a combination of online courses and practical activities that include hands-on workshops and seminars by industry practitioners. We combine an academically rigorous curriculum with a learning-by-doing approach facilitated by mentors, peers and industry practitioners.

Entry Requirements
Applicants should either posses one of the following Diploma qualifications:
- Professional Diploma/ Executive Diploma/ Diploma and 8 years working experience
- Professional Bachelor/ Executive Bachelor/ Bachelor and 5 years working experience
- Other academic qualification with working experience (subjected to approval by UTMSPACE)
